Chimpanzee habituation experience in Kibale forest national park starts very early in the morning at around 6:00 am at the headquarters for a briefing about the rules, regulations and the exceptions for the chimpanzee habituation After the briefing, you will join a group of the researchers, conservationists and then start trekking in the forest in search of the chimpanzees which takes almost a full day. You can visit Kibale forest national park and do chimpanzee activities all the year around, though the experience can vary with the seasons;
Dry/ peak season (June to September and December to February); these are the driest months, making the trails easier to walk on (less mud and slipperiness).
