Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest national park for Bigodi wetland walk experience.
On the 1st day of the safari, depending on your location your safari guide from African Vacation Safari will pick you either from the Airport, or your hotel in Kampala. He will welcome and then brief you about the 2 day Kibale chimpanzee tracking safari that takes you to Kibale Forest national park known as the primate capital of the world and highly known as the birder’s destination. After the briefing you will transfer to Kibale forest national park that takes you approximately 5 to 6 driving hours from Kampala to the park. The driving journey takes you to the scenic views of the various attractions including the tea plantations, banana plantations, watching the locals doing their daily activities and others. Along the way you will have the en-route lunch and after lunch, you will proceed with your journey and then towards the park you will view monkeys and baboons. And once you arrive you will go for the Bigodi wetland walk that welcomes you to the sighting of the beautiful flora and fauna and various bird species, insects, small mammals, butterflies and then other primate species in the back drop of the stunning landscape. After the experience you will drive to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and then transfer to Kampala.

On the last day of the safari, get up in the morning and then get served with your breakfast. After breakfast, check out from your lodge together with your packed lunch meet your safari guide and then get transferred to the park headquarters at Kanyanchu visitor centre and then the park officials will give you a briefing about the rules and regulations to follow during chimpanzee tracking. After the briefing you will start the tracking in Kibale forest national park that takes you about 30 minutes to 5 hours. While doing the activity you will be impressed with the attractions in the park like various bird species, plant species, primate species, and many others. And once the chimpanzees are found you will be given a period of one hour to be in the presence of the chimpanzees watching them climbing trees, feeding, playing, grooming, taking them pictures and recording them videos and others. After one hour you will leave the chimpanzees and then trek back to the starting point and enjoy your packed lunch, and then you will be given the chimpanzee trekking certificates for taking part in chimpanzee tracking.
After your safari driver will be waiting for you and then start you journey to Kampala with the stunning views along the way until you arrive Kampala and your safari gude will drop you off at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe International Airport that will make your safari to be completed.
