4 Days Lake Mburo and Bunyonyi safari is Uganda’s stunning safari that offers you a unique way to explore the natural beauty and then wildlife of Uganda, this safari allows you to have the thrilling experience the wildlife of Lake Mburo National Park, and then the serene beauty of Lake Bunyonyi and the region entirely. This safari offers you the best of the African safari experience in the Pearl of Africa.
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.
On the first day of the safari, your safari guide will pick you either from your hotel in Entebbe/ Kampala or Entebbe International Airport. He will brief you about the safari, and then begin your scenic drive to Lake Mburo that is approximately 4 to 5 hours of drive, along the way you will stop at the equator in Kayabwe for the experience, taking stunning pictures and simply grabbing a cup of coffee, later proceed with your journey to the park.
Upon your arrival, you will check in and enjoy your lunch. Later in the after lunch you will go for game drive to see the park’s incredible wildlife or optionally take a short nature walk around the lodge. Later enjoy dinner, relaxation and overnight at your lodge.
Day 2: Morning game drive and Boat safari on Lake Mburo.
Wake up early in the morning for a game drive in the park, this is where you will have the chance to search for the early risers like impalas, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and among many others with out forgetting bird species. After return back to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation.
In the afternoon you will go for the boat safari on Lake Mburo, that offers you the best way to spot the various aquatic life like crocodiles, hippos, various bird species. After the boat safari you will either transfer for a more game drive experience or transfer to your lodge for relaxation. Later enjoy dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 3: Drive to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation.
After breakfast, check out from your lodge and then drive to Lake Bunyonyi with thrilling landscapes and this approximately 3 to 4 hours. And once you arrive you will check in and enjoy your lunch.
Lake Bunyonyi, is Uganda’s famous attraction, that is peaceful and wonderful lake that is surrounded by the attractive hills. And in the afternoon, you will be relaxing in the scenery, and as well enjoying in the optional activities like swimming, visiting the surrounding islands, canoeing, and among many others, like exploring the local community and cultural experiences if you are interested to. Later transfer to your lodge for dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 4: Departure.
After breakfast, check out from your lodge and then begin back to Kampala to your starting point, and the journey takes you about 6 to 7 hours drive. Along the way you will have en-route lunch, and once you arrive in Kampala you will be transferred to your convenient place that will bring your Uganda safari come to the end.
