Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Murchison falls national park.
Day 2: Morning game drive and boat cruise.

Detailed itinerary.
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Murchison falls national park.
On the 1st day of the safari, depending on your location you will start the 5 days Murchison falls and Kibale national park to where you will be picked u by our company representative from African Vacation Safaris who will welcome you and then brief you about the safari. After the briefing you will start your journey to Murchison falls national park, with the magnificent views along the way. You will make a stopover along the way at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track the remaining rhinos in Uganda. After rhino tracking you will go for the en-route lunch, after lunch you will connect to Murchison falls national park. Upon your arrival to the park you will check in your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning game drive and boat cruise.
The 2nd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and then enjoy your breakfast, after breakfast you will meet your safari guide and then transfer to the park and go for the interesting early morning game drive to spot the numerous including elephants, lions, Uganda Kobs, buffaloes, warthogs, and among others, without forgetting the bird species like secretary birds, bee-eaters, African fish eagles, cormorants, and among others. After the morning game drive you will return back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will meet your safari guide and then transfer for the afternoon boat cruise at the bottom of the falls, to spot the colourful bird species including the prehistorical shoebill stork and spotting large numbers of the crocodiles, hippos. As well you will spot elephants, Uganda Kobs, giraffes, and others along the water shores drinking water. After the experience you will hike up to the falls to where you will be picked by your driver safari guide, this is a unique experience that offers you the stunning spotting of the landscape. Later you will return back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight.
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale forest national park.
On the 3rd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your breakfast. After breakfast, you will check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide and then start your journey to Kibale, you will have the stunning views along the way of the beautiful nature like mount Rwenzori, sighting local’s farms and others, along the way you will have en-route lunch. After lunch you will proceed with your journey until you arrive Kibale. Upon your arrival you will check in your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale forest national park and Bigodi wetland visit.
On the 4th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your breakfast, after taking your breakfast you will meet with your safari guide and transfer to the park’s headquarters for the briefing about what to do and not to do during chimpanzee trekking in Kibale forest national park. After the briefing you will be grouped in different groups of 6 members, and each group will be allocated to a skilled park guide and then go to the lush forest to look for the chimpanzees.
Chimpanzee trekking takes a period of about 30 minutes to 5 hours. Along the way looking for the chimpanzees you will be fascinated with the spotting of the park’s attractions including the animal species, bird species, plant and tree species and others. And once the chimpanzees are found you will be given one hour to be in the presence of the chimpanzees while watching them doing their daily activities like feeding, grooming, hunting, playing, making nests and others, during the one hour you will take the pictures and recording different videos. After one hour you will drive back to the starting point at the park headquarters and be awarded with the chimpanzee trekking certificate for participating in chimpanzee trekking. Later your safari guide will transfer you to your lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will meet your safari guide and then transfer to Bigodi wetland sanctuary for the guided nature walk, this is unique and interesting that offers you the opportunity to spot different bird species, various small mammals and among others, and this takes you about 2 to 3 hours. After the experience you will transfer back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 5: Departure to Kampala.
Wake upon and get served with breakfast. After breakfast, you will check out from your lodge and meet with your safari guide and then start on your journey to Kampala with exceptional experiences along the way like Amabere Ga Nya Mwiru, and crater lakes tours. After you will embark on your journey back to Kampala with the en-route lunch. After lunch you will continue with your journey. And upon your arrival your safari guide either to Entebbe International Airport to get your flight back home or to your hotel in Kampala, that will make your safari come to the end.
