6 Days Uganda Primates and Wildlife Safari is a thrilling Uganda safari that takes you to one of the best wildlife experience of spotting incredible chimpanzees in Kibale Forest national park, mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, and other animal species in Lake Mburo National Park.

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.
On the first day of the safari, your safari guide will welcome you and then pick you from either Entebbe International Airport or from your hotel in Kampala/Entebbe. He will brief you about the safari, and start on your wonderful journey with beautiful views to Kibale that is about 5 to 6 hours with the en-route lunch. Upon your arrival you will transfer to your lodge, check for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp walk in Kibale Forest National Park.
After breakfast, meet your safari guide and transfer to Kanyanchu park headquarters for chimpanzee trekking briefing. After you will enter the forest and look for the chimpanzees that takes about 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on the location of the chimpanzees. Once you find them you will spend one hour in their presence watching them play, fight, hunt, rest, feed, observe their behaviours, take pictures and record videos. After chimpanzee trekking return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, go for exciting and relaxing swamp walk in Bigodi swamp as this is a famous bird watching destination, and spotting other incredible primates and many animal species. After the swamp walk return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
After breakfast, check out, and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, along the way with en-route lunch. After lunch proceed with your journey until Bwindi with the thrilling views of landscapes, attractive roads, Kigezi hills, terraced farmlands and others. Upon arrival check into your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
After breakfast, carry your packed lunches, and all gorilla trekking equipment’s and transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. After briefing you will enter the jungle and look for the mountain gorillas that takes you about 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on the location of the gorillas. And once the gorillas are found, you will spend one hour in their natural habitat watching them doing their daily activities like breastfeeding, playing, feeding, grooming young ones, taking photos and recording videos though with no flash camera. After one hour, you will return to the lodge, for relaxation and later dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park for a boat cruise.
After breakfast, check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide and then transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. Along the way you will have stunning landscape views and many others, once you arrive you will check in your lodge and go for a boat cruise to where you will view the hippos and crocodiles in water, spotting various bird species, and many animal species along the water shores like buffaloes, antelopes and many more. After transfer to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 6: Morning game drive and Departure.
On the final day of the safari, enjoy breakfast then check out from the lodge. And then transfer to the park for the morning game drive to search for the animal species like zebras, impalas, giraffes, buffaloes and more.
After the game drive you will start on your journey to Kampala, and with en-route lunch at the Equator, take pictures, buy craft souvenirs. After proceed with your journey to Kampala arriving in Kampala your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight or drop you off at your convenient place.
